MaxPreps: High School Sports App Reviews

Im really happy to have an app that allows me to quickly check on my favorite teams!

So, first, it should 100% be free, or at least have a free version. I bought this to support MaxPreps as a loyal user of their site for years. But theyre shooting themselves in the foot with having a price tag on here. Second, if I click on a team from the scores tab, I should be first greeted with their results and schedule. THEN the updates and highlights. I hate having to scroll past a bunch of videos just to find the nugget of info Im looking for. Last, I wish I could shrink the text size like you can in Twitter and most other apps. Im not vision impaired, so I dont need such huge text. Overall, this is a decent app. Should be free, but here we are. If they update it with some fixes to my complaints, Ill update this review.

What this app looks like and what it is are two different things entirely. Look like an app you can get current scores, every school I tried to look up was empty. So whats the point

I love following other league games in my area and getting instant notifications!

I paid the fee for this but then realized it is only for a few sports and not the one I wanted to track. In addition, the "upgrade" to the maxpreps website seems to have cut a lot of very useful features for finding stats. Very disappointed.

Finally an app that tracks local high school sports. You can enter up to 10 schools. Track football, baseball, swimming, etc... See reviews of upcoming games, win & losses of each team, top 25 rankings. This app is awesome. Can be set for notifications. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Had issues installing app but after GREAT customer support it works great! Able to follow my sons HS now Thank you customer support at MaxPreps!

Dislike apps that charge you a fee then still have pop up ads.

Useless. Keeps sending me password change instructions that lead nowhere. Instructions is a loosely used term.

Can’t wait till friday when football starts. I’ve turned on all notifications since I can’t go. Forgot about soccer. Yes!

I love maxpreps and am so excited about this new app. I have been using now for a week or so and I love how I can change my favorites and notifications whenever I want.

Glad to see Max Preps making money on high school athletes....email states app would be .99 cents....downloaded and got burned for $2.99....

Our high school team is doing great this year and I love keeping up with the ranking. I wanted to see them through the app today but it keeps popping up to a yellow screen. Fix it.

Thank you MaxPreps! You are by far the best app Ive ever gotten! I would have paid 50$ for this! I highly recommend this app if you follow highschool sports. Especially football! GO PAPERMAKERS!!!

The app is so great for high school fans. The notifications make life as a fan so much better.

Love following my kids teams and every other team in our area... No one else has complete scores in our region or the number of live scores that MaxPreps has!

I love getting alerts for all the teams in my league.

Update this app and also make sure people add scores this is crap at times website too come on now you charged me so fix it thanks

Im having to text friends at the game because 90 minutes in, theres still no score listed. Dumb app. Deleting it.
