MaxPreps: High School Sports App Reviews

I updated this version 5/5/16. Its terrible compared to the previous version. Its not user friendly. Ive used the max prep app for over 4 years. Ill probably delete it. 0-stars!!!

I use this app almost daily and it is really nice except the rankings should show the number of places a team moves up or down such as " team name" ⬇️ or⬆️ (number of places moved) then actual ranking as now. This means the team has moved up or down the number given.

Dont like how it picks your favorites for you which you then have to edit. Box scores per quarter or period dont show up; just gives final score. You constantly have to sign up to view anything. Kinda clumsy going through to set up.

It kicks me out every time I touch my favorite team. I get no information. It needs to be fixed.

Its a ok app but it needs work as far as the stuff about certain school like they tell you the score but dont upload the highlights or sometimes they dont even document the games

This is a really nice app. Everything is consolidated, would have given five stars, however theres no address information for games. Would be nice to be able to see an address in the game preview. Other than that, very useful.

The new interface is nice but you cant see the conference standings for your school you follow. Please add that feature

I love this new app! It makes live scoring so easy! And I love the newsfeed and notifications I get for my favorite teams! Love all the dings I get every time theres an update! This is great! Thanks MaxPreps! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

At last, MaxPreps has done it. This is very cool app to keep me updated on my favorite teams! And the best thing is that unlike others, this app works, has data, and does not crash!!! - K.S.

Downloaded this to follow some of the top ranked teams Friday night and loved it! Great job MaxPreps!

Nice app but something like this should be free. ScoreStream is very similar in keeping up with live game scores and it offers a little more interaction with users. This app is good it just should be free like score stream and other apps that do the same. Also it would be nice to have more then 10 favorite teams to add to your list. Especially if you like to follow the nations top 25. Either way you get similar functionality with other free apps but this is still good to get if you are a hard core max preps follower.

Only a few sports are offered to track. Big disappointment!

Easy to navigate and great info. I found my high school teams quickly and I see this as a valuable tool for athletes, parents, coaches, and fans.

Perfect for following other schools while at the game

Ive used MaxPreps for a long time and this app is long overdue. Looks solid. Easy to set-up favorite teams and get alerts. Got notifications for game scores, photos etc. My only quibble is you need to double tap a video for it to start playing. Other than that small thing it seems really well done and worth the price.

This app does not have vary many high schools listed. My sons high school is not listed. It is a 5A school in Texas. I wrote support and only got an automated response. Im very disappointed since you had people signing up to be notified when it was released and now it is not really ready to have been released.

This app makes is extremely to follow the high school I graduated from in regards to sports, which is all I really care about when thinking of my high school. I used to visit MaxPreps website on my phone but this app is much easier to navigate and the scoring notifications are amazing. Definitely worth paying for.
