MaxPreps: High School Sports App Reviews

When they have an "official scorer" for a game no one else can give scores even when scorer does not check in so you get no scores or updates. They need to open it up to everyone if scorer does not check in by game time.

I downloaded this with hopes to follow some high school teams. The scores are never correct and game dates are usually wrong. The updates to scores are far and few between. A waste of space.

Ok, enough time has passed! If coaches in certain states are going to be required to post scores here, then make an iPad version available so we can do it while using hudl! Arent they supposed to be integrated anyway!?

Is good app for high school Sports

This is a fairly good app by Maxpreps. Would like to see a bit for functionality to the app. But overall not a bad app.

I love this app for the content and scores and much more but the acual functionality of the app is terrible its EXTREMELY slow and sometimes refuses to work. Please fix the bugs to make this a great app.

Generally a decent means to watch the play-by-play or even provide updates and scoring. Unfortunately, the app still doesnt effectively update player stats even though a Live Scorer provides them. Additionally, there is no graphical breakdown of scoring or fouls following a game or during a game supported by a Live Scorer. Very slow start up, and does not show playoffs (If so, they should be easier to find, receive updates or live scoring.) Offer a photo/video upload feature. Also, allow a feature for roster corrections/updates.

The very first time I use is its fine but every other time is when your stuck at the blue maxpreps screen and it sits and loads but never actually loads.

After signing up it selected my favorite teams for me. And wont let me delete them in order to actually select my own favorites!

It would be nice to have track available. Also, some glitches to report scores if the system has the wrong time listed for the game.

Its a good app and all, but paying for this and still Ads with a choppy interface? Thats a little stingy.

Chose my favorite teams based on my location and then wouldnt let me delete them. Now I cant add the teams that I intended to because there is a 16 team limit. Creating an account did not help. Deleted the app within 15 minutes.

Worked wonderfully until earlier today when it decided to pick 14 new favorite teams and eliminate 2 of mine. What a joke. Cant even manually change it back.

I enjoy being able to see my sons HS baseball results, standings, etc in a convenient location. And this app works well enough most of the time. However, it keeps forgetting my pre-set favorites. I have an account, and the desktop version remembers the school, teams, and players that I favorited. But the app on iPhone and iPad slects a bunch of local teams as replacement favorites every few weeks. Logging on and off doesnt help. I can swipe and confirm to delete each of the wrong favorites, but I have to manually select my real favorites again. Needs an update with effective syncing. Other than that, pretty good.

They have ruined this app. Sad

Very good app, and a very good update, however, I think that if it was possibly to view standings it would be a perfect app
